The Tennis Circus took on its most challenging event to date at David Lloyd, Leeds this November. Four pros, including Wimbledon champions Pat Cash and Jonny Marray, joined Danny Sapsford and James Auckland in providing a fantastic days tennis entertainment.
On behalf of Cancer Research, and sponsored by Jet2.com, the day was jam-packed with activity in order to maximise the opportunity for raising funds. Four, 1 hour tennis clinics provided a mix of doubles tactics for adults and fun/games for the kids. Some players were also able to feel the full force of returning Pat's serve, whilst others enjoyed a competitive doubles with Jonny.
Following lunch, there was a fascinating exhibition by the GB wheelchair tennis squad. Then, Pat, Jonny, James and Danny played a highly entertaining exhibition, incorporating some sublime tennis and outrageous trick shots.
The day finished with a black tie dinner and auction for 250 guests.
It was an exhausting day, but highly rewarding as over £20,000 was raised for such a worthy cause.

The Clubs that participated were, Thongsbridge, Chapel Allerton, David Lloyd York and The Academy, Harrogate.
The format of the Day varied from club to club dependent upon their needs, but generally the format of the day was:
3 x 1 hr coaching master classes followed by:
A tennis exhibition where Jonny teamed up with ex-Davis Cup pro, Danny Sapsford plus 2 local club pros.
All of the Days were a resounding success, as you can see from the photos and the testimonials below. We are all looking forward to more Days with Jonny in 2013!
Brilliant. Danny’s coaching was just right. I really enjoyed it and I now have some tactical tips which I am trying to use in matches
110% Success - Danny even organised a fine sunny day! Everyone thought the day was great and the 72 participants who took part in the coaching really enjoyed it and came away with good tactical tips to be put into action. The exhibition matches were a wonderful mixture of quality tennis and great laughs. Memorable day. Well done the Tennis Circus.
